Elizabeth Iverson, RDH

VP Business Development

Elizabeth joined the Mesh Dental team in January of 2021 and draws on more than thirty-five years in dentistry. She retired as a Dental Hygienist, and founded Practice Leadership Center (PLC), a full-service practice management firm equipping fee-for-service dentists with business acumen to escort dental insurance companies out of their treatment rooms, while raising the profitability and quality of their lives. PLC successfully coached over 650 practices before being sold and becoming the Business Development Division of Burkhart Dental Supply in 2000.  Elizabeth remained with Burkhart as the Senior Consultant, keynote speaker, and contributing editor to Dental Economics and The Coaching Corner until 2006. Months later, Elizabeth and her husband moved their family to Uganda, East Africa where they founded Africa Matters Today. She became the Clinical Director of the mobile medical unit serving in the rural areas throughout the country. For twelve years she expanded her clinical expertise to include tropical medicine and dentistry. They returned to the US in 2018 where she joined Henry Schein, Inc as a Senior Analyst in their 360˚Business Development Division. 

Elizabeth is passionate about leadership and elevating the potential of individuals and profitability of organizations. She’s a certified Leadership Coach with FranklinCovey, John Maxwell, and Brian Tracey. 

Elizabeth is married to her life-partner, Royce, and father of their three grown children, Sophia, Dominique, and Elijah. They love the outdoors, serving their local community and traveling the world.  

Kate Dobens

President & COO

Kate joined the Mesh team in October of 2021 and now serves as it’s President and COO. 

Kate has many years of experience in dental practice acquisition and new practice development and management.  In 2016, she co-founded Vardiman Black, a specialty dental DSO supporting pediatric dental, endodontic and orthodontic practices.  She is also a co-founder of Dental Specialty Education, a Pediatric Dental Residency training program located in Nashville, TN. She teaches dental practice management at NYU Langone Dental Medicine, postdoctoral residency program.  She is also the author and principal instructor of Practice Ownership Formula, a comprehensive training designed specifically to move female dentists confidently into practice ownership. 
 
Prior to her focus in the dental field, she worked for ten years as a business profitability consultant for middle market business through her own firm, Business On Point.  For this work, Kate worked alongside company founders and CEOs as a fractional CFO and business strategist focusing on developing financial literacy, streamlining business operations and improving financial performance. 

 
After earning her MBA, Kate now has over thirty years of experience in corporate finance, business management and entrepreneurship.  Kate brings a deep perspective on market analytics, capital formation, business growth and operational development.
